My 5 gallon invert tank has been set up for a while and I just wasn't happy with how it was looking. So I did a complete redo. I originally had soil covered by gravel but as soon as I started to move things the water turned black. I decided to ditch the dirt and I bought some fluorite and covered it with black gravel.
I spent all day removing as many shrimp as I could. I knew the snails would reproduce fine so I didn't bother to save as many lol. Now it's all set back up and the inverts are back in their tank. The shrimp love the driftwood and keep climbing to the very top! I hope this helps them to use more of the tank space. I have had the cherry shrimp for a while and now I'm starting to think of adding another shrimp species but I'm not sure what.
Anyway the first pic is the before the others are the after
Hopefully I'll be able to post again in a few weeks once the plants settle back in.
