Absolutely stunning setup! Your 500-gallon predator pond is a true testament to your dedication and passion for exotic fishkeeping. The combination of species you've chosen, like the giant gourami, vulture catfish, and granulosus catfish, showcases a well-thought-out balance between aesthetics and the natural behaviors of these predators.

It's fascinating to hear about the challenges you've faced, especially with the aggressive tendencies of certain species like the black belt cichlid. Your proactive approach in managing tankmate compatibility and providing ample hiding spots demonstrates a deep understanding of predator dynamics.

For those considering similar setups, it's crucial to research each species' temperament and ensure the pond environment mimics their natural habitat as closely as possible. Regular monitoring and adjustments can help maintain harmony among such diverse and powerful fish.

Looking forward to more updates and perhaps a video tour of your impressive predator pond!
