:welcome:
Mmm, nice deal! Would those be Emperor or Penguin biowheels? Either is a great filter, but I'm partial to my Emperors, lol.
If it were me, I would do a community tank because I love to see lots of different fish rather than one or two.
1 angelfish
15-20 midsize (1.5-2 inch) tetras like lemons or von rio tetras (aka flame or fire tetra OR similar sized barbs like cherries (males are nice and bright, females drab) OR GloFish (genetically altered zebra danios to have bright flourescent colors of jellyfish and such)
6-10 cories, emerald, bronze, or skunks would be some options
1-5 nerite snails (best algae eaters ever)
You could do 2 schools of 15-20 if you wanted or 1 large school of 25-30. IMHO, it's best to have 1 large school over 2 small schools. The effect of a school sweeping across a tank is much more dramatic than a piddly little 6-fish school, not to mention the fish will be much more at ease.
