Go with the 75 gallon if you have the money. You can get a few more fish in there, you can add more scenery, and bigger fish tanks to me bring more to a home. Go big or go home

Are there any other limitations (such as the weight that the floor can handle) that would come into play?

and there are more than petco and pet supplies plus that run good sales on aquariums.

From memory, That Pet Place in Lancaster PA will have $1/gallon sales on larger tanks, at their customer appreciation and anniversary sales. I'm not 100% sure, but I think 75, 90 and 125g tanks are included also.

I'll confirm that Petco and Petsmart only do there $1/1g sale up to 55g.

A good general rule is to opt for the largest tank you can afford and have room for. I have a 75 and thing they are great! I also have 55's which I don't use anymore. I also think 40 Breeders are awesome. Not much you can't put in them
