65 gallon LJ project

OMG, Lalo, I'm sorry you're having so many problems. I'm not sure what to suggest. Did you forget dechlor last water change?

Don't add new fish until you know what is happening. Test for everything & tell us...tap water too.

Currently all the fish are in order, but the tank itself is not going through a good time. 7 deaths in less than two weeks, the pH issue I am going to solve by gradually entering the water with the new pH, and in this way they will get used to it little by little. I don't forget my water change this week, but that was done by the siphon. The siphon work for about 30 minutes, and put new water (with pH of 6.5) in the sump, and when working for a few minutes made a change of 60 liter water. Starting this week I will begin to make two water changes of 40 liters each. When all that is in order, I will place a 50L QT tank for the newcomers. As for the sump, he will continue to wait since the siphon was a disaster, because at the moment I cannot work with it until I pierce the tank and place a drain, this will go hand in hand with a complete aquascape renovation, I've been wanting to empty the entire tank and do something new with the space, so due to the need to drill through the glass, this is my chance. Here is an FTS, perhaps one of the last photos you will see of the tank with dark colored gravel:

Sorry Lalo, I think we're back to your personal tank. I may have gotten confused with the lfs contest tank.

I'm sorry most? of your loxozonas corys died. That was "just" a small flood, I've had a couple worse, but still a big mess. I hope you can figure out what's going on.

I'm worried you want more angels than can live happily in your tank...without the problems you're having now. Deep breath, & wait until your system is more stable to think about new fish. Now is not the time...

I agree with you, and I continue to regret my loxozonus.
Today I'm going to make a water change with the new pH, I have the next water change scheduled for Sunday, and those will be the days when I will make water changes from now on. I currently have three angels and there is no aggression between them, at least for the moment, my plan is not to add fish next week (obviously ? ), I will wait and work on the quality of water that I am offering the fish.
The tank is going to be drilled and I will place a drop to the sump, while this happens, I will work on a re-scape, the black substrate will go, and more plants will arrive, possibly I will change my lighting so there is a lot of work for this tank, but come on we know it's fun ;) .

Have you checked the KH? Cause you can't just change pH by changing water with a particular pH.

I measured the kh when I tested that my ph was at 8.4, but I did not understand the reading very well, here is the instructions I hope you can help me get the reading. For kh the color change was 8 drops, while for gh it was 6 drops:

The API instructions are not very clear, they should just have stated 1 drop equals 1 degree. So your KH is 8 and GH is 6. 8 is pretty high for your tank, you need to test the KH of your new water source now.

The fish are in order, the tank looks clean and everyone is eating a little less now, the reason is that I noticed a small outbreak of brown algae a few days ago, and my flying foxes have become lazy guys, so I decided to ration the food for everyone and less daylight hours in the tank, and the algae has disappeared considerably.
On a separate note, last Wednesday I arrived from work and found my flame angelfish dead, which arrived in my tank in January 2017, this was a loss that really hurt me a lot, it even made me think about continuing with the marine aquariums.
