Oh, and as to the clove oil....I just go to the pharmacy at CVS and ask for it behind the counter. It may also be sold as Eugenol.

but you/I are right, cuz its hard to get the correct dosing of clove oil to kill. and its a lot, so you might waste clove oil that way. what you should do is use enough clove oil to put the fish to sleep, and then put the fish in a bottle of vodka. the vodka is reusable, so youll save money in the long run.

Vodka is usually used WITH clove oil. Vodka by itself in not recommended. It burns the gills and can cause a painful death.

i think he meant you can reuse the vodka over and over while the clove oil will run out, and he said you do the clove oil to make them go to sleep and then you put them in vodka.
