So sad
Just woke up, and found 2 of the 4 wild/turquoise discus dead, 1 was floating, and the other was lying on the substrate
I just want to remove the other discus, I only havev 3(1 baby in the 20G, and 2 in the 72G)
i am seriously thinking about humanely euthanizing the other 2 discus.
I don't know what happened, they were eating from my hands yesterday night, I did a 50% WC 2 days ago, so what could be the problem?

theyre either stressed from all the activity of your other fish, or its too cold. wats the temp?
the temp. is perfect at 84F, it goes up to 86F sometimes bc it gets like 90F here in SJ, CA.

they were eating out of my hands yesterday, and then bam this morning.
i can't find th eother 2, they are probably stressed as they have no buds.
the discus were sold, but the buyer is coming either today or tomorrow, I am going to cancel this sale
I'll do the parm. check after I do the rescape, but I'll do it before a WC.

the other 2 are perfectly healthy, nothing on them, full colors.
will the other 2 die of stress bc of lack of companaions?

I always get the two confused, but shouldn't you have less nitrates and a little Nitrite? Or is my dyslexia getting the best of me again?
Anyhow, I can't help with the discuss, sometimes fish die for reasons we can't figure out. Could have been stress, maybe a disease or parasite, possibly the stunting. If you're canceling the sale then how do you plan to get rid of the discuss?

Youshould have a little nitrate and no nitrite. Everybody miixes that up sometimes.
