72 Gallon Bow Front Tank Journal/Build!!!

Not sure for the 20g since the male bristlenose will be very dominant if the rams get near his cave. I have seen the male attack the same female he mated with just because she wanted to mate again or was just in the wrong place. Not a good thing to see since he can and may kill whatever goes near. The male GBR may even attack the bristlenose if he has eggs. I think the rams or plecos should have their own tank with only upper level fish. You're selling the discus, right?
72g still looks overstock on the bottom. Too much rams with the corys. Angels...don't know. If I try to imagine how your tank would look like, I feel like their isn't enough room for all the angels. Maybe have 4 angels only so you see the rasboras school.
10g and 29g sound fine for the stock listed.

okay, so the male ABN might kill the female?:(
yes, im selling the discus in a month or so, once it reaches 4". in the 72G, i agree with the cory and ram prob. but i've heard of it, but my fish don't do that

okay, cool;)

angels will be sold and i'll only keep a pair eventually, but this stock list isn't my final, but once like u said, i get the tank proper, i'll change it up. maybe discus in another tank in future when im in college to help pay;)

but so the rest look fine?

im okay witht eh ABNs and GBRs, as the GBRs, are a not breeding size yet or aggressive, very shy and peaceful, they swim with my ocrys, i have pics to prove

for some reason

NONE of my Rams have any issues with the corys or vice versa;)

Yep. Mine killed my L144 and calico females. He would chase my other male L144 too. He was a pain. Even chased the corys and they had ripped sides to show it. Would creep behind the corys unnoticed then charge at them. Kept him for a year by himself then gave him away to a local hobbyist who was having a hard time breeding his group of bristlenoses.
A pair of angels would look very nice in the tank. Just don't add a lot of angels in. Rams are ok now but what about when they get bigger? Have to prepare for them.

i have never seen a 29G long, mines tall btw, 30"X18"X12.5" i think

Best to be sure. Yes, that tank will work fine.

the tote is the quarantine......;)

currently also, it only has a few shrimp in it which were used to sort of mini-cycle, as i used 1/2 of the water from the 72G.

I agree with understanding, and i agree with solving my current problems, but i see no problems created with this purchase, i actually solved the stocking problem in the 72G. There are no more possible breeding pairs left in there except corys. I'm calling the breeding tanks breeding tanks because i plan to breed, but not now as i am more focused on the 72G and baby discus. I do have a few questions.

If it were you, how would you split up all these fish, and if necessary, what would you sell. ALL tanks have 2X-4X the filtration necessary, here is a list of fish and tanks

The above is how I would stock your tanks. I would much prefer that the 20 becomes a quarantine tank, but that seems unlikely right now.

okay, guys, remember i just said my rams don't bother my corys, well, i saw one kill:( my male gold ram, the only aggressive ram was repeatedly attacking my albino long fin, and i intervened by putting a net in, so the fish went and hid, and i came back 30 min later with zucchini for my ABNs and CLown, and it was dead:(

the irony:( only have 2, but the ram only seems to bother the albinos

maybe bc the juliis and emeralds are super dull/dark colored and blend in well with the substrate?

Take out the rams if you can. Don't want them attacking the other corys when you're asleep.

i can't now bc the lighst have been off for like 1 hour, and it'll scare the fish,i'll see in the morn.

Well, if the Gold Ram is the only trouble fish, just put it in a tank without the corys. Corys in one tank, the problem ram in another. Maybe have the cories in with the angels in the 29gal?

I think it's better if you remove all rams, if you can. Learn from your mistake and don't let it happen again.
The thing is if you only remove the trouble ram, I'm pretty sure a new alpha ram will form from the group and then be the new trouble ram.

yes, i agree, but the only rams i have left are females, so no alpha females, right? not sure on that

so for the gold ram, i'll try to find a female for it so it can calm down???;)

and i'll separate those fish
