Kind of worried now, all my discus are looking beautiful and schooling together except for 1 of them, he/she just hangs out alone by the heater or under the DW and is always swimming slantedly/sidewaysish. I am really worried. I did a 50% WC last week, and I did a 25% this morning. I am going to be doing 25% daily until tues to see if it helps. I emailed the local breeder I got it from just now, and am waiting for reply. Any help, the rest of the discus are awesome, happy, etc. The temp is 84 but I will try to get it to 86 if you guys think that would help? Any help? I am scared. I am not taking pics now since I am leaving in 5 min to look at a new house.

btw, none of the discus look stressed and their colors and patterns are perfect, and no black stress bars.

nobody? It seems that 1 of the discus has found an amazing hiding place as I can never find him/her and suddenly he/she pops up from behind the DW, even though she/he wasn't behind it when I checked, there must be another cave I missed, as my Clown Pleco and BN pleco have found lots of hidey holes. :)

That baby discus scared the crap out of me when I couldn't find it, I looked for 20 min desperately on the ground, in the tank, etc. Then suddenly he/she pops up as if he/she were there all along.

lol! i think as long as the water changes are kept up, you should be fine. i thnk your only problem is transporting all of this if you move!

yeah, as said above. I'd definetly hold off getting any new livestock at all if your moving.

Yeah, I am done stocking the tank finally:) I will be getting rid of the angelfish and adding a few more discus after the move.:D We are buying a new house this month for sure, and both houses we are looking at have a 3 car garage so I got my fishroom :D and one of them also has a gameroom upstairs so that could be a fishroom instead:)

Btw, i can see all 5 discus right now, but when I get within 3ft of the tank, the scaredy cat discus that I couldn't find yesterday disappears behind the DW into some creepy hiding place that I can't see from the sides or front of the tank. :D
Very weird, but at least it didn't jump out

Actually, the transport will be quite simple:)
If you go back a few pages, there will be a giant post on moving the fish. It will take 6-8 hours. I am not planning on getting any plants until I am done moving so all I have to do is move fish, tank, substrate, get a lot of trash buckets(those giant ones that are 55G+), and plant only 10 vals, and 20 stems of rotala indica:)
seems easy now

are you putting the angels in a different tank or selling them?

also, we need some pics of the discus!

Well, I am probably selling the angels as I already have a breeding pair, but I am not sure. Right now, I am thinking of taking out the rams and putting both pairs into a breeding tank on the rack which is in progress finally. So then, I am thinking I can do 8 discus, 16 harlequins, 4 yoyos, take out the SAEs, 4-6 ottos, 6 corys, 1 clown pleco, 1 ABN pleco, and 4 angels. Not sure, though. So, I will see. But I will add the angels last if possible so the discus are adjusted to the tank and have less competition for food.:)

As for pics, when my mom comes back home, she has the camera.

Got any pics yet?
