Hey guys,

So I know I have made quite a few mistakes with this tank over the year or so it has been setup. But I have fixed the problems I had and thanks to all who helped me. Now I am sort of starting fresh, except I haven't changed anything, except for the problems which are now solved. I am sorry to those ppl I didn't take advice from earlier, it was quite hypocritical(as i gave advice, but didn't follow it at that time), but hopefully it is better this time around:)

Starting this journal for 2 reasons...first to show i corrected my mistakes which were my fault, and second because we are moving into our new house in 20 days;)

Okay, so I did a cleaning, 50% WC, and new scape today. If you had seen my most recent pic, the HUGE piece of DW was in the center, moved it to side to give more flow/openness.........here are some pics.......kinda good now as i got my SLR:)

Stock is almost as diverse as my 100g haha. I like it! The layout of the tank would accommodate all of those fish quite well. Sorry to hear about your male angel :/

yeah, it did suck, it was the randomest death ever, like right after he fertilized a batch:(

i like it diverse, it used to have 6 harlequins, and 6 neons, but i moved those to the shrimp tank for a while;)

My future stock is hopefully something like this...

5+ discus
20ish schoolers total
6 bottom dwellers;)

and my dad said maybe a 125G in the new house, but whatever.....still only plannign for this tank

Any ideas on what the stock should be in future? Do you think rainbows will be fine with discus, or will they be too active? If too active, I'm thinking neons? and some sort of rasboras?

Nice tank dude! :)

Sorry to hear about your angel. I know how that feels, I lost my koi angel about five months ago :(

I think some of the more mellow rainbows like Praecox would be okay with discus. I would personally do cardinal tetras or harlequin rasboras with discus.

Just my opinion :)

used to have harlequins, but they don't stand out in bright lighting or against plants as much as neons:)

yeah, what really bums me was it was because it choked on a feeder fish, i had been feeding the same safe(not those feeders which are unhealthy) for conditioning of breeding for a LONG time, and nothign had happened, when i foudn it, the tail was sticking out so i assume it was that

I think im done with angels for now:)

how r u doing, haven't seen u 4 awhile;)

im think gold neons, and neons:D
