I'm going through the same thing. Tank was set up Oct. 31 with pool filter sand. I'm wondering if it is the sand.
All my other tanks have Eco-complete in them and I never experienced green water in them.
I'll post some links I had found regarding green water so you can read through them.
One person said they just let it ride it out. So that's my plan also at this point. And perhaps a 4 day black out if that doesn't work.
