75g bowfront

just go to the store and exchange the last fish for some new fish.. so every time someone comes over its a new surprise.. :evil_lol:

LOL! I'd rather not try to net them out of a heavily planted tank, thanks! :P

As for the loaches, I've always kept them fed on live blood worms and didn't think they did well on much of anything else, and where I live now that is not an easily accessible diet. Can you suggest an alternative to make sure they get fed at the bottom of a heavily planted and well stocked tank? I'd hate to have them starve.

I looked up Clown plecos online... $96?!?!? OMG!! OUCH!!!!! Any other varieties that stay small and DON'T cost more than most aquarium filters?! When I worked in the trade we'd occassionally get some types that looked far better than clowns and they were only 20-50 bucks.

Do gold nugget and zebra both get huge lke the regular variety?

I just looked for some price base line on zebra plecos and about fell outa my chair! $200+!!! Generally livestock comes DOWN in price over a few years, and it was about 10 years ago that I worked in a LFS in Fresno and we got in a zebra and priced it at around $50 as I recall. One of my coworkers made good use of her employee discount and some store credit to buy it.

Anyhow... I think I might justy skip the whole pleco idea and get back to figuring out what other fish will go well with ottos and ammano shrimp and leave the cleaning to those.

So in regard to angels, will they kill ammanos or just the smaller cherries? I'd like to put 3 or 4 gold rams in there and a few GBRs. I figure those will certainly tke care of any overabundance of livebearer fry, and the one I recently added to my 20g is leaving the ammanos alone.

oh, and WHERE did u get a clown for that price??

Can u link me to that please? The only things I'm coming up with are a store chain that sells supplies but not live stock, and a GRIP of links to boycott some of the Petland stores for selling dogs bred at inhumane puppy mills and other unrelated stuff.

Ah shoot, thought Willows was closer to Fresno.... Was going to suggest a place here in town to get decent fish for cheap.

Nope, I moved FROM fresno to here. Cool to see someone on here from there though. I worked for John at Whities for a lil over a year and then wound up as aquatics manager at Mary's for about a year before being laid off right after she moved the store to the front of the shopping center.

aww crap... I got RickRoll'd!!
