I got them from spunjin on the forums... sells awesome driftwood.

THATS AWESOME BFK!

Gosh... I leave my tank for my family and friends to take care of and I come back to algae lol. Not really their fault ik.

I put some api algae stuff in and some phosphate remover in. I plan on doing a large water change tom. Is there anything else I can do?

I wouldn't add any supplements to get rid of algae -- just scrub off the excess and reduce your lighting time.

How's the tank doing? How are the SD's? Have you picked up the GT's yet? Got pics?

Lighting time wont affect it as its more of a phosphate algae. The tank is doing great other than that though. The sd's are great!!! they are still a little nervous, but they are nervous fish any way. I think I'm going to get gt's from someone off of monsterfishkeepers.com

haha yeah thanks for tempting me bfk... i need to wait until i get gts and they have babies first though.

anyway, my tank is quite algaefull. One of my silver dollars has darker fins now (is algae growing on him?). I will post pics later. I'd really like to try and get this cleared up before adding my green terrors.

here are some pics of the algae... what algae is it, and (if u can see) what is the black tint on my redhook. also, whats on the green tube (last pic)... i think its calcium, but idk... can i just wipe it off.
