Wow nice Redhooks and spotted silverdollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes the yellow on the redhooks mouths is normal. Glad to see you joined the Redhook club............ I have 1 8'', and 1 4'' redhook. I also have 1 2'' spotted silverdollar. What made you want to get these guys?

Very nice set-up. A nice blue or black background would really make your fish stand out imo.

Hmmm... I knew my gh and kh were high but man. I just tested them and they are both over 180ppm. I have peat in my filter and driftwood in the tank... what else can I do? Should I top off water changes with ro water?

A green background would look cool on there.
Black always works though.
