I don't remember buying goldfish for a quarter.

I remember stores selling small pet turtles for cheap in a small clear plastic bowl with an "island" in the middle with a fake 3" palm tree on it. I think my dog ate mine. No longer legal to do this.

Rofl I definitely remember that. I still have my red-eared sliders turtles! My parents bought them for me when I was a kid. They were in a common chinese market outside LA, Chinatown xD I had them when they were 1 inch. They are like 5 inches now living in a 10gal with a brick to chill on. A little cramped;come to think of it, Ima need to do some turtle research lol. LIKE OMG. A overstocked turtle tank!?!lol then i turn to the world of turtles;oh no way! lol not until i get a pond.


I remember when there was blood red parrots selling for 20 to 30 dollars each back in the days.

Man I don't remember that and I can remember when they put down little kereosene pots around construction work at nights instead of the new fangled battery powered flashing lights

However, I remember when a local fire station would flood a ball bark in the winter so people could play hockey and skate.

I remember off center pony tails. Never had one (always had short hair,) but I remember them.

I also remember the things they sold so you could tie your tshirt up under your rib cage showing off yer belly, in the days of off center pony tails.
