and those pads will work, but look and see if they have a large piece of poly filter pad, probably about 3 dollars or maybe 4, its blue on one side and white on the other. Just cut it to size and it works great and will last you a very long time, you can probably cut about 10 of the size you are using and one will last you months, just rinse it in tank water every couple weeks and re-use it.
probably do a 50%, and sounds like bacterial bloom, it will go away after you start using the dechlorinator, chlorine kills off good bacteria.
forget it i might just end up moving soon cause my granny is telling me that its not bacteria bloom its from me putting rosey reds in there for one day cause i thought my oscar was gunna eat them but now there in a diff tank a 2.5 gallon for right now.. and she told me i cant get any aquasafe or stuff like that to put in there.......................................... ima talk to my friend tonite see if i can move wit them cause atleast they now MORE bout fish and they dont even keep fish..
well a lil update i couldnt get the conditiner cause my friend was in a hurry then a guy he got a truck from screwed him over big time so we had to hurry and get back so he can call the guy long story bout that PM me if u wanna now if i dont answer then im at his house again.. but anyways i came back home and my tank light was on so i kno my granny feeds my fish to GRAH!!
another thing:
i told her since im 20 i want to start to handle my own money since im ageing and everything else thats with ageing so this week ill only get 11 dollars and next week ill get my full 75 dollars im gunna quit smoking so my money can add up... another thing is i have 40 buxs saved so far for a bigger tank and i told my granny i want that money to so i can save it up but she just yuelled and said im not getting that money its for my tank, I KNO THAT DURRRR i just want to save it up myself for now on!! but she just laughed at me and said shut up im not getting that money HAH how is she gunna save it up now wen i get my money next week and thje week after and after and after that week all that money will do is just sit there... but long story short she dont think im responsiable but just told her straight... kinda,,,,
