Ok when people talk about using scrubbies for their filters thay are talking about these...

These are used to add biological filtration because of the amount of surface area they have, They are good for colonizing bacteria.

Never use kitchen sponges for aquarium filtration.

Poly quilt or pillow batting makes a decent filter floss.

I use these in 2 of my hob filters.........can only fit 3 on each filter.
