a fish tank for a museum

ok so the room has been totally stripped to the bare bones and the janitors will be doing a total remake on the floor tomorrow to bring it back from where it is, I am also going to look into doing a fast splash of paint on the walls and putting a kickgaurd up to protect the walls.

When I set the room back up the only tanks in there will be the 20g on the counter, 1 75g feeder tank on the one metal rack and a 75g heated water tank for water changes. I was able to work a deal with them on taking the unneeded tanks and was given permission to go through the other stuff to see what I could salvage.

When I shut down the feeder tank, I put 2 of the feeder comets in the 20g with the bichir to see what it would do and immediately it went on predator mode. So I removed its sole tankmate that I have been watching to see if it would get eaten. I brought the fish to my buffalo head tank here, I have no idea what kind of fish it is any help to id it would be appreciated, just did not want to see it get eaten

I had a chance to take a short look at the magazines and found this one. I had an idea come to me how many of you think it would be a cool thing to have a reproduction suitable for framing of this

Since I spoke of the origional fish keepers work I thought I would show you some of the signs from the exhibits he helped put together and as well to give you an idea of the calibur of the work around the tank so as to show my hope to get this tank be at least equal to them

and jennifer for so the gar is named definitely is happy to see me she swimms right to where I am and stares at me, I put all the feeders in with her tonight.

I was also given the go ahead to put together the tank with a total fresh stocking, so I will be rehoming jennifer to my 300g at my restaurant.

If dragon goby were not needing brackish water when the reach adulthood for sure I would have a couple of them in.

I plan to have the new stocking done with the tank by next weekend provided the water tests out good

Fabulous!! Please, somebody, id that pretty little yellow fish. I'm still a noob.

Btw, that mag cover would look nice matted and framed, wouldn't it. Very nice looking.

well since I was given go ahead to restock this tank, I thought I would post pics of the future residents. I have been growing most of these for a personal tank I was gonna do then the chance came to do the museum tank.

2 niger cats but I think for the tank they might be to big so I might put in my 2 striped raphael cats

Those niger cats are awesome, would be good for a while, but eventually you're looking at 30-40" fish. Everything else looks great.

You gave up on the prehistoric/primitive idea? And went with just a fish tank?
