Just wanted to post a pic of a cory actually holding the eggs taken less than 5mins ago. I thought she was done a few hrs ago and had a "small" batch. But I guess I was wrong.

Great picture! Wish I'd thought to grab my camera when mine were spawing. I was too enthralled with the show that it didn't even occur to me.

On a side note, I love your c. sodalis. I had one, but he didn't survive. Their pattern is very eye catching. Hope they catch the spawing idea from your others.

Very cool! I actually saw mine holding eggs yesterday for the first time. It was great!

yeah it's been pretty crazy. My krib female has also blocked off her flower pot entrace with gravel so I hope they have another spawn. But yeah my only spawning goal would be the c. sodalis. They were watching so maybe they learned a thing or two.

well here are the eggs in two cups. Some of them are clear while some are white inside. It's been over a year since I've tried to save some eggs. Which ones are fertile again? lol either way I'm seperating the clear and the white tomorrow and finding out for sure. =)

How do you know if the cory is holding eggs? I have 8 peppered corys and have noticed one of them getting fat. I have also noticed smaller ones (I assume male) tailing the larger ones around the tank.

lol you can see the corycat holding the eggs. Look at the bottom fins. If you see your cories doing the T position and then you see your female floating off the bottom. She is probably standing on her back fins, this is when she poops her eggs out.
