A reach tool not designed for aquariums that works!

Finally a reach tool not designed for aquariums (thank goodness) that really works great, engineered for garbing large and small objects like a coin with its nimble silicone finger calipers. Made light and strong of aluminum with full hand trigger pistol grip for maximum grab strength force without stretching, twisting, or braking by using stainless steel cable technology used on race bicycles. Long enough to reach to the bottom of a 31 inch tall tank as shown without getting wet, and the best part is its very affordable about $20 at Lowe's Home Improvement.
What is it? Its called the Grip 'n Grab.

I have been using it now for about 2 weeks wanting to get an assessment before posting. I have tried everything from "aquarium tools" that snap to long hot dog grabbers that hurt your fingers trying to pick up rocks. This thing picks up everything with little effort from an uneaten soft algae wafer to any size stone that will fit in the calipers. It was destined for the elderly to pick up cans off shelves or counter tops from wheel chairs. Its made to work and last even underwater LOL.

great suggestion.

i do just stick my arm right in (after it is washed, rinsed and dried well)...i just deal with the soggy armpits when i dont roll my shirt up far enough.

So do I, but with my 36 I'm right on the limit of not being able to reach the bottom. With anything bigger, I won't be able to. I guess I'll stand on a chair or something.

I don't think I would ever stop sticking my hand in when I wash them off well with just water. The problem is on a tall tank 31 + inches is not easy to reach or see on a tall stand. Also since I work on almost all my own stuff from engines to AC units there are times my hands and arms are just to contaminated to reach inside, or I'm dressing a long sleeve shirt on the way out to the opera and need to quickly fix a problem. But by far plant arrangements can be a over wet ordeal having to reach inside over and over again. Once on my tall 125 I actually got off balance on the stool sort of fell looking out from the fishes perspective the cat and dog were quite amused, with water displacing all over the floor, another issue.

Anyway for any of those needs this tool is a real smooth piece of gear and is obviously made well for people with limited mobility. So please be good and buy your own as I'm sure Grandma will need her's.
