A sad day

only fish people can really understand the loss... sorry to hear.

Sorry for the loss. He was certainly a gorgeous fish.

CPD- sorry to hear that you lost Mr Bangaii. The whole story of Titch and the broods that your mated bangaii pair had were always facinating. Hang in there! Kind regards, Almondsaz

Without going into the marriage and divorce jokes, I've got to say that "mrs bangaii" is a completely different fish. Her and her hubby used to always hang back in a corner of the tank especially when I was feeding Trigger a shrimp from a stick. Today she joined the others by trying to attack the piece of shrimp, and boy did she get her share!!!

I am sorry to hear that. It is always crushing to lose an old fish. Something similar happened to my old female clownfish. She was wild caught and I had her for a little over 12 years before she died. Her mouth began to gape like your cardinalfish's and she was only able to eat very little. After about a month, I found her rolling around in the current, fins tattered and barely hanging on to life. I quickly placed her in a container of water and placed her in the freezer to end it painlessly. So, in any case, I know how you feel :(.
