Oh ya, forgot to mention, interceptor is kind of a extreme step. I only started putting that on my list of "Coral QT steps" recently because a fellow reefer tore down his tank and a bunch of locals bought corals that were infested with red bugs and acro eating flatworms. One person is still battling them with his corals all in QT over a month later. I got lucky and only got one small piece of monti from him and I dipped that in Medicoral first. Since seeing the problems fellow reefers are going through, I started doing the revive dip as well. So far I haven't got any new acros lately to do the interceptor dip, but I will one every acro from now on.
I got another new monti from another reefer and did the 2 dips and saw quite a bit of stuff come off. Tiny, not real sure what it was, but glad I dipped anyway just to make sure. Monti opened up and was fine in the DT after that within an hour. No negative effects from the dips.
