Ace25's 75G Build Thread

I think he was just referring to the readings in the pictures.. which we all agree we have seen much higher readings than what is pictured. ;)
OK that makes sense. Jeremy, did the new rod holder work in your tank?

Got a new fish for my 29G today.. impulse buy.. went in looking for a goby and came out with a falco hawkfish. lol.

Naw, I have been giving stuff away out of my 29G as well. Here is what it looks like right now. I actually have a Green Slimer SPS frag in there and it is growing and encrusting to the rock.

What do you think of that green (slime) sps coral? I've got some of that. Came in as a hitch hiker.

It was my first SPS coral.. a local reefer was handing out frags one day and that was the start of my slipperly slope into SPS corals.. It is one of the most hardy SPS corals I know of, but somehow I have seen a few local reefers kill off frags which I could never understand. The piece I put in the 29G was an accidental frag and already had enough of those so I just threw it in the 29G to see what happened. Even with all my neglect of that tank, simple filtration, no skimmer, just weekly 75%+ water changes from the water I take out of my 75G.. recycle my used saltwater and the tank seems to be doing very well. ;) There are patches of hair algae and quite a few aiptasia, but I don't mind so much in that tank, it is really my softy tank.

I got mine with a rock that had some polyps on it and they took over that the polyps disappeared. I've also got a red something that when the moon lights are on glow like black light paint. Sort of a blood red in color.

Would you be interested in buying some Rowa-Phos in bulk? I plan on buying a 5kg tub. It might save you a few bucks and will split it with a few locals if need be.
