adding cichlids in with Angels

That's the best list I've seen, Star. I am hoping I can find Rams but they really don't come with good quality around here... I usually lose them soon after getting them... but I do love them... I should try getting a group instead of just 2 though....
as far aas the fasti's, you're not talking about those electric blue ones, right? I've hear horror stories of the aggression on those, but they are pretty... I am thinking you are talking about the ones with the stripe from mouth to top fin, right? (sorry about not knowing the exact name, I am on my way out the door though)

I have blues in with wild angels and it is comical to watch as the rams have 0 fear of the angels and will dart out and take food from them.
the angels will give chase but the rams are much too fast.

This is so true, I have a female ram who is probably not even 2" long in my 55G, she is completely fearless of my big male angel who has a body of at least 3". She will get right up in the mix at feeding time, and when he tries to chase her will simply turn on a dime and zip down into the plants.

Apisto's... I forgot all about those. They are colorful... and feisty... man, I can't wait to go shopping!

Thanks for the sites, David... however, I don't know how comfortable I feel about shipping these days with the weather being so crazy... I'll have to go out to the pet shops and hope for the best.
