thats a sweet looking frog!
question- are they smarter than the average frog?
I saw a documentary where the father frog looked after its tadpoles and even dug a little canal for them to reach deeper water when their pool started drying out.

Rather that tank makes him look big. LOL look at the possitives. Imagine how he would look in there full grown now that would make the tank look small or make him look like godzilla lol.
That was this species. African Bullfrogs love to dig and while guarding the tadpoles if the pool they're in starts to dry up they will dig a channel to another pool. The father takes great care of his tadpoles and will defend them from almost any creature including lions!
He also looks bigger because I was just messing with him. They inflate themselves up to look larger if you bother them. He looks a bit small in that tank but they're not very active frogs. He normall buries himself so just his head is peaking out, waiting and watching for prey to walk by. He's only really active when I dump a bunch of crickets and roaches into his tank.
