Watching it like a hawk, checked it today even. I also have a massive HOB (Fluval 70, a filter meant for 55+ gallons in a 10 gallon QT) on my side and siphon + bucket at the ready at all times and plan to change water twice a week just to be extra EXTRA sure. I'm prepared.

Those corydoras are magnificent, it's normal to lose a couple of neons when they first arrive in a new tank, don't worry about that, good luck.

The rest of the neons are still alive, but these C. Delphax man, they just keep getting brighter.





The pics don't do them enough justice, the orange band on them practically glows. What's more, I've looked up online images of the species and I must've lucked out on locality, because from what I've seen the vibrancy or even existence of that color band seems to vary quite a bit.

Wow i am amazed the colours of ur cories vary. Like tiger and zebras stripes vary too, especially our finger prints and cats’ nose peints vary as well. Really amazed here.

Good looking fish! There have been plenty of times I have wanted a certain species of fish just to find something else which changed my mind at the last minute. I don't think I've ever been disappointed.

I've noticed the cories didn't take to pellets well at all. Put a couple carnivore sinkers and a bit of algae wafer in yesterday and they looked completely untouched several hours later. Removed them along with a water change (it's, a weird feeling only taking five minutes to do one of those now lol).

Tried some frozen/thawed bloodworms today and that seemed to be much more to their liking, saw them actively eating it. Though the neons enjoyed them a little too much apparently. They all turned into balloons. Clearly need to use a half portion next time.

You might try shrimp pellets after the tank lights go out. The corys can sniff them out after they soften up but the neons are visual feeders. The corys may not be used to the wafers you've offered, it can take some tries with new foods.

I agree, and corys move around at night to and so they have better chance of getting some food. Fasting fish is great choice to make them eat something they dont know or dont like, even my fussy fulicas when fasted they will eat anything.
