I think you're referring to the "loach dance"? And yes, clowns do it. Yoyos got their name because of the Y markings on their sides I think.

Pretty much any loaches do the "dance" when in groups. Yoyos (Botia almorhae) were indeed nicknamed because of the "Y"s in their pattern.
