Aiptasia - Anyone tried this?

I had two of the little buggers in my tank, luckily they were on the same rock near the top, so I grabbed the rock out of the tank and roasted them alive! Since then I have not seen any, hopefully neither of them spawned and there little incestuous children are lurking in hidden areas of my tank.

:mad2:

Good luck!

Very well said Grins.

.....had 250-300 aiptasias, they were going nuts...I purchased two peppermint shrimp, and in less than a week, they were all gone. Two months later, no sign of aiptasia. Peppermints are pretty cheap, and they worked hard for me.

Thats what mine did. They just swayed back and forth taunting me with their beady little eyes. I actually thought they were kinda creepy. (i had them in my seahorse tank and gave them away along with the ponies)

peppermints are nice to have but mine seem to disappear, probably were taken care of by my emerald crab? I just bought some of that Joes Juice for the first time this last weekend and I can say that this stuff does work. I still have some little ones that I missed but hopefully I'll get them the next time. I was and still am skeptical about this stuff but hey it did get rid of some ugly looking stuff in my tank and that all that matters right now.
