Aiptasia - Anyone tried this?

peppermints are nice to have but mine seem to disappear, probably were taken care of by my emerald crab? I just bought some of that Joes Juice for the first time this last weekend and I can say that this stuff does work. I still have some little ones that I missed but hopefully I'll get them the next time. I was and still am skeptical about this stuff but hey it did get rid of some ugly looking stuff in my tank and that all that matters right now.

I've gotten rid of the ones I could reach easily by either sucking them out of the sand with a turkey baster or injected them with straight lime juice. But there are a few I'm not keen on shifting rocks to get. Not quite yet.

you think lime juice work better? it would be cheaper to buy, but I was over joyed when I saw those buggers disappear when I put the juice on them. I did try kalk but they always came back within a couple days. Its been 4 days and the ones I did get are gone.............................

As of this point I've used boiling water, joe's juice and now just kalkwasser paste and the latter two both have worked for me.. I didn't feel like going out and buying more of Joes so I just mixed up a batch and they haven't returned as of last wednesday in the spots that they were or anywhere near.. I'm hoping.. hoping that I finally beaten them as the last three I got rid of I found hiding back in the rocks and were actually huge.. (like 4 inches when extended out).. I just casually brought the syringe up close to them and let out a slow stream of kalk paste and they took it right up and then started to melt.

Am I evil for enjoying watching them go away??? :)

I think of the same thing when I nail those little reef wreakers... ;)

That's how I treated mine as well grins sort of like nosferatu in the sun light. I've also used lemmon juice, calk paste, boiling water and ice packs. Oh, and lebloom I've just put one and one together and I'd imagine after you are clear of aptapsia and you stop treatment your mushrooms will perk back up.
