yeah, when i took those pics he was like out a lot, then when i went to touch his shell he like went back in and "closed the door".. hope he is fine, im going to exchange my frog that wasn't the right kind my LFS said it was for like 2-3 more of those snails, i love themHe might still be shockedIt can take snails a while to warm up to a new home. I wait at least a day before checking on a snail that's not moving. Usually I can tell if one is dead (before it gets stinky!) when one is mostly out of his shell, and when I touch him he doesn't move. When I touch my snails' bodies they usually freak out then close themselves in their shells and lock the door LOL. Lovely snails BTW. He has a very nice, strong looking shell. I love golds. My only gold died this week!
