Seriously... it's another case of the missing fish. I bought 3 honey gourami last wed., one came up completely missing friday. There was no carcass in the tank. Then, today, a few hours after I did a water change, another came up missing, no carcass in the tank. I look all under the base of the tank and on the floor... everywhere I could imagine and then some places I couldn't... I'm so sad, I've wanted them since I saw them... :(, I have removed the remaining one to another tank.

This is nuts!

Anyone else had this happen recently?

that's weird Puma....... was it you that I recall this happening to in the past only to find the fish had a secret hiding spot somewhere in the tank......being that the "missing" one had shown up weeks after you thought it was gone? Have you checked the nooks and crannies within the tank?

I'm hoping that's it, but I poked around in the tank afterward with and arrow shaft and I didn't turn up anything. I even checked with the HOB filter..

look outside your tank i remeber my feamale peacock went missing and when i was moving my tank their see was on my floor behind the leg so i couldnt see her from the front:mad:

I had a betta completely disappear like that once. A month after it vanished, I switched everything in the tank to my 30g. No sign at all. I couldn't even blame it on a predator as the closest thing to an aggresor in the tank was a peacefull 3" CAE

PumaWard, do you have an older brother...?

I had my Powder Blue Dwarf gourami disappear for 2 days... it turns out he was just inside a small hole in my driftwood. lol! :D i love him...

Have you looked behind the tank?? or behind the tank stand??? cause that happened to me and we couldnt find it any where but then we tried looking behind the tank stand, so we drag it foward and HEY PRESTO there he was! in the gap between the wall and the stand floping around on the floor (he survived thankfully)
