We are making progress today: turned the tank lights on and they immediately came over to the feeding spot with dorsal fins erect. I got these pics within two minutes when it took me 20 minutes before. Their color was a little faded due to not being adjusted to the tank lights yet. The perfect shot is closer and I hope to get it tonight.
BTW: I made the image sizes larger, so please click on the images to see in full size.
Colors a bit faded - if I can catch the fish at more of a angle vs straight on side shot, then I can get the sparkle spots on them to glow! So, we are almost at "full finnage," color was a bit faded, and a little bit more of an angle. We are almost there
Color getting a little better (starting to adjust to the lights) - could use a more anngled shot. Also, pic is out of focus.
Color getting slightly darker with each shot, little bit of an angle however, they were further back - would like closer to the glass. Still liking the improvement
I love the sparkle spots on the smaller female - I just need to capture it on camera now
