Am I FULLY Stocked???????????

Giant Danios get closer to 4 inches....and from I've read they are a bad fish for us to get. They are distant relatives I believe to the common danio, and if you recently got them, I would recommend seeing about a return. This is based on last months issue of aquarium fish mag and their list of 10 common fish to not buy. Purely your choice of course.

Could you elaborate please?

I'll look to see if I have the issue, I normally pass it along to several friends who also have tanks to read. But I remember an article that went something along the lines of "10 common LFS fish you shouldn't buy for your community tank" and Giant Danios were among the 10.

Sorry to raise a rukus, and if I can't find the recent issue maybe someone else reads the same mag and saw this article?

No problem, I want to know what the article said. I kinda like them but they are simply flying all over the tank all the time. Dont know if it is spooking my Acar, Sev, and FM or not. I got them to cycle the tank, and cant just simply toss them since it is done.

I am also interested in what the article said about giant danios. My lfs has them too, and was thinking about getting some for my 90.

I am researching on Giant Danios for a friend of mine who likes how they're really active.

What did the article say? You can't leave us :hang:
