amazing tanks

Their tanks are filtered by simple canister filters (at least the ones I saw). When you have all thoses plants, they take care of a bulk of the filtration in their tanks.

I'm thinking that these people are experts in keeping aquariums. Since they offer full maintenance deals and do the job of caring for the tanks themselves, not leaving it up to the home owner who...by the looks of those homes....wouldn't have the time or interest in "dirtying" thier hands in a fishtank....(The fact that these folks hire a company to come in and setup and care for thier tanks...tells me they aren't hobbiest, or they would want to do all that themselves)

I'm sure this company knows what they're doing as far as stocking and caring for thier tanks. I'm sure though, that the tanks become somewhat less sparkly and clean after awhile no matter how good the maintenance is.

I'm guessing it's a VERY expensive deal too...none of those homes remotely resembled my humble abode....lol.....

The owners are Jeff and Mike Senske. Puffernewbie is right. Most of those tanks have canisters on them. Our reef club meets at ADG every month. I bought a very nice co2 set-up from them. During the MARSH meetings I spend more time walking around looking at the displays than paying attention to the frag swap. lol In a very limited way my company is in competition with them; sort of the way the corner convenience store is in competition with walmart.

there is no doubt ada makes the best aquarium supplies in the world, mainly their substrate products and rimless tanks.

But some of their products are ridculusly over priced, for example a 20 gallon aquarium stand costs $500+ alone, the stainless steel canister filters are all $500-$1500 range.

Checkout adgshop.com if you got the $, that's the only online store in the US that sells ada products.

On a separate note in term of stocking levels, again get off the soapbox. If you notice most of the fish they pick are not the type that requires a lot of tank space for movement (ie: rasboras, neon tetras etc), in addition the tank is very heavily planted and professionally maintained, so the water params are always excellent.
