Andrew's 36 gallon Bowfront

Huge thanks to mellowvision for making my wood sink, and helping me out with the plants. (and thanks also for not making me toss my ship!)

Here are a few pics:

Sweet wood. HA

That will look great once it grows in, and im sure the ship will eventually make its way out lol

that piece is....awesome. +1 for awesome wood.

Yeah, nice driftwood piece. Even the ship doesn't draw my eye away from it....too much. ;)

Thanks for all the positivity regarding the wood!

Went to my local LFS today (Tropical Isle in Framingham, MA).

Already had a few cherry barbs in my tank. Picked up two albino cherry barbs, and 3 quarterish-sized blushing angels. The albino cherry barbs have been added to the tank, and at the moment it appears they along with the regular cherry barbs are trying to figure out dominance. Just a lot of swimming around each other.

The angels will go in shortly...

Never had an issue with angels eating otos in 30 yrs....

I'd do two groups of 6 cory, different ones....

10-12 cherry barb or rummies.....

and 6-8 hatchets for the top...

and a BN....

+1 except for the hatchets, because they are, IMO, a bit finicky for a beginner, and rummy nose will fill in as dithers/top dwellers.

Took a few pics last night. Plants are doing well, and all 3 angels and 8 cherry barbs (6 regular and 2 albino) appear to be happy.
