I have 72 gallon with the following fish:

Tomato clown
Clown trigger
Porcupine puffer
Naso Tang
Blonde naso tang
Unicorn tang
Dori tang (I forget the actual name)
Live rock & sand

I would love to purchase a bulb tip anenome but have been told that might no be a great idea. Anyone have any comments that might help?

Don't those puffers get over three FEET long? Way overstocked.
 
IIRC that puffer should be in no less than a 125gal..
 
I wouldn't try it with those fish. also s you probably know you have way too many fish for that tank. You also have lots of tangs and somtimes they will get along pretty well when they are little. However when they grow up it will be WWWIII in your tank not to mention that some of those tangs get BIG ,"almost as big as the puffer."

Thanks.....I really didn't think I had too many fish, not at their size at least but I'll be sure to keep an eye on them.

Going 8 months strong so far....

A: While they may not grow as big as they do in the wild (about 2 feet), they could still get quite big. It may be okay to keep the fish in a 90 - 125 gallon tank for a year or two, eventually it will need a much larger tank, at least 180 gallon.


For the Trigger:

A: Juveniles could live in a medium size tank for a while, depending on the growth. Adults closer to a foot long needs a tank 180 gallon or larger.





the puffer could already be stunted.
 
i thought porcupine puffers only reached 11inches....
 
Want an anenenome

What should I do. I really want an aneneome. Should I get rid of the puffer? He is about 3 1/2 inches long.
SHould I attempt it with him & the triggers?
The triggers are pretty tame. They leave my hermit crabs alone...
