We are staying away from all FBBS and FBS in general although we still use FBW. We are now using fresh beef heart blends that we make ourselves, we freeze our food in small ice cube trays and this is the perfect size for feeding multiple times per day.We have also been experimenting with freeze dried BBS this is working well for now and the cost is much lower than raising BBS. Don't get me wrong I am aware that fresh is best and we will continue to feed our Angels fresh in combination with our beef heart and freeze dried to mix it up a bit.
