Angel red streaks on head not eating

My pH is now at 7.5 My Angel, Althea is still not looking great. I saw an improvement with her appetite but now she is back to not eating well. Her mouth is still not looking better and the red streak to her eye has diminished somewhat. I'm unsure how to proceed or if to be worried. .

Sorry, I'm unable to view this forum from my laptop so having to upload from phone. She is a looker !
Loosing her appetite is a concern. What are you feeding her? If it is dry foods switch to frozen or live foods. Monitor water quality, do water changes every couple of days with water with about the same temperature and composition. Temperature is still 78? Raise it slowly to 82.
If you want to go the extra mile I would get some Artemiss in there (herbal anti bacterial product... can safely be used in the tank.) keep us posted.

I'm feeding her flakes ar the moment. Will pick up some different varieties for her again. (I was supplementing with frozen brine shrimp but the quality I get at LFS seemed hit and miss so I discontinued.)

Ok, will raise temp to 82 from 78.

Artemiss? Will look into that option.

Thanks so very much!!

I recommend getting frozen bloodworms for her. They really love those.
You can also try small earth worms (chop up if you only find big ones)

She's eating on and off but her little mouth is still not looking well. I think it's time to medicate my tank. :( I also have other fish that are symptomatic. Actually, I was fixing to make another thread regarding them as well. Their mouth's have a white fuzz. I'll get some pics to post.

Sorry to hear that ! The white fuzz at their mouth is probably Columnaris bacteria, aka as mouth fungus or mouth rot. I would put some Artemiss in there (that can be used without nitrifying bacteria being killed) if there is no improvement after a week you will need a real anti biotic, this will also cause ammonia problems though.

I'm not sure why your tank pH would have shifted from your tap water of ~7.8 to over 8, but I would focus more on doing larger, more frequent water changes than focus on adding meds or things that could shift pH to the tank.

If your tap water is 7.8 and you do enough water changes, your tank should be the same.

If you have taken the calcium carbonate out of your tank, the pH will come back down with water changes. At the end of the day though, your fish will adjust to a steady pH and be pretty okay. If it weren't, there wouldn't be any novice fishkeepers in the Phoenix area that ever get to be intermediate fishkeepers. pH out of metro tap is about 8.2, and if fish didn't acclimate to it, well, let's just say a lot of hobbyists would've gotten frustrated and quit. Stable pH is more important than perfect pH.
