Can I put a couple of my Pomacea Bridgesi in my angelfish tank? I asked the guy at my lfs while i was there just to make sure and he said no the fish will harass the them and eat the snails' eyes????
Its a 30g bare bottom with 4 juvie angels, nothing else is in the tank except some java fern attached to a rock in there. I just have 3 mysteries in a 10g with 10 super tiny apple snails. I was going to try to move the mysteries to the 30g cuz i have read about when you over populate snail tanks their shells become damaged with growth lines, holes, etc. and figured that if i moved the mysteries (all a bit smaller than a golf ball) into the 30g then they would not be sucking the nutrients out of the available water as quickly as they are now. I do 50% water changes in the 10g 3 times a week or sooner if i see them crowded at the water line, so i was trying to think of ways to stretch that out a bit but that wouldn't be harmful to the snails. as always, im open to advice and/or criticism.good advice, Jinkz.... Crim... what does your tank look like? Is it planted? How big is it? How many angels are in it? What else is in the tank?
