angelfish and water current

just wondering if angelfish like still water or flowing water?Because i have a hob bio wheel filter for my tank and the turnover is x15 an hour is this fine or too much?

They like still water. If the turbulence seems too much, divert it to another direction.

Are they going into the 29? I personally do not think the flow from any HOB would be excessive for them.

The ones at my work do very well in the 20high with a Whisper 60, as do the discus.

I have a 55 gallon with angels and they seem to stay off too the side where there is no HOB. I run a penguin 330 bio wheel and it makes a good current. So I would have to say they prefer the still water myself.

mine go all over the place..... but they are in a 120 and a 85.

Good question. I just added another Penguin 200 to my 36g for a total of two. I think this might be too much for my lone Angel... Any suggestions?

Can you put the filter return over to 1 side so the angel can escape the flow if it wants to? Or redecorate so there are some calmer areas? There is a lot of space to play with in my 30 inch tanks with HOB(s).

I closed the Mid-level intake strainers to help reduce the water flow. But other than that his only option is to hang out behind the filters. I can't change the flow direction on a Bio-wheel. I might be able to make something though. If he hangs out in the front of the tank he gets whished around a bit.
