I would sue them. call her, use yellow pages and fine out where she lives and confront her.

I would threaten to sue, sometimes gets them going.
I never buy things from CL unless I am going to pick them up myself and then I always bring a friend with me.
BBB only applies to those businesses that are members of it, it has no bearing on ones that are not.

I was going to chime in on the BBB issue that people have to pay for membership to it and this place probably did not join. Good luck with this issue,

Aww man Flutey-Feet-Pappy, that sucks! I got scammed for several hundred bucks back in the day on CL buying some paintball gear. PayPal is good but they only have authority over what is in their accounts and unfortunately scammers rarely are dumb enough to leave cash in there for long. Good news is if they scam someone else PP could grab that cash and pass it to you. Here's hoping you eventually get the flute or your cash back.
