Trying to reform someone else without their permission is often futile.

Anyway, trying to reform yourself with permissin is often fultile. Just look at our lives.

Hey LuvMyKribs...I'm sorry you felt that I "blew up" on you. We all know that's the downfall of interacting through text, you can't tell for sure what the emotion is without emoticons.

I had no clue you take it the way you took it. If I did know, I might've reworded it differently.

I'm not one to rehash something over and over, but I'm not happy with how you walked away from it......stressed out. All I was trying to do was prove a point as General72 noted. I wasn't saying that killing a plant is equal to killing a fish, I was trying to get across that depending on a persons perception, it could be, and for other's, it's not. That's all. I was respectful the whole time.

Did anyone else get what I was trying to say, besides General72? I love the internet...

Well here is an update on all those africans i saved well alone with my 4 green severns they all got a bad case of ick ive lost 5 africans and 3 severns to it im still treating the 55 gallon tank i got them in put still not working for them i dont want to loose more of them i dont no wat to do anymore life sucks im so mad at the moment :hang:

I try to keep this on hand. It'll kick ick in a hurry. Usually takes two days for ick to clear and then continue treatment for one or two more days. At the end of the cycle remove the medication with carbon. Good Luck

Chevo---be sure and remove your charcoal/carbon from your filter--it will take the ich meds out. Have you found your 300 gallon tank yet?

yes i no i removed them from both my mag and my peguin 330 i just left the blue pad for the big stuff that might get caught in the mix i just lost 3 more africans im so sad at the moment i think i cought it to late the ick got them

well now all my green severns died and 5 more africans died im trying the tank buddies tablets now hope this works next im going to empty the tank and just start over life stinks i hate this

Aww i know it can get frustrating.

Did you try adding salt (1 tbspn per 5 gallons) and raising the temp to 82F?

That usually helps kick the ich in a hurry.

Wat kind of salt regular table salt or the special one you get at you local lfs?
