Kas it right, 3 lbs isn't much at all. I've personally not seen a +/-5 lb weight change in a day...at least not as a relatively sedentary adult.


No, BMI isn't the best, but it's a good quick estimate. I linked to that particular BMI calculator because it had the extra settings for age, and a link for a better calculator for men, plus there is further info in the lower portion of the page that talks about BMI inaccuracies for those who are muscular or athletic. I find that, for the average person, that the BMI can put their height/weight ratio into better perspective.
