any one know of a good diet?

Print this out. Take it with you. Review it BEFORE ordering. My husband's favorite line is:"Do what you can afford". If you treat calories like money, you'll eat a lot less.

The other very effective tip: set a goal, and reward yourself for meeting the goal. The trick is to make the goals behavior based--go with "I will walk one mile every other day" instead of "I will lose three pounds in one week". When you focus on the behavior, you're more likely to stay positive. Rewards should be fun things you like doing, rather than a food reward, as well. So, set a monthly goal of walking you daughter to school each day, and then plan on taking yourself somewhere fun (maybe a facial at the day spa, or a movie).

Or you can just print it out to remind yourself to not eat fast food. LOL!

hmmm facial at a day spa,,,i like that idea! ....thats sounds so heavenly right now! well to keep you all updated ..i did not walk in to get her ..but atleast i did walk in to drop her off...although my reason for not walking her in had to do with the fact that i lost a major credit card ..and wasted a lot of time running frantically around trying to find it! but on the bright side ...i figure with all of this going on.. i musta burned some awefull amount of calories...and i managed to only eat a salad with no cheese for lunch! ..so i havent found my credit card but by the time i do ..i should look darn good and be able to afford a hot date! lol :D

If there was a "good" one, we'd all be on it!! Exercise and healthy eating are the only way to go and people just don't want to hear it!! I certainly don't :D !! I was a good 20 lbs. heavier than I would have liked to have been before I got pregnant  . Luckily, I haven't gained much weight but I don't look forward to adding another 5 lbs or so to that number....I notice that when I'm really busy I don't eat as much, so I'm hoping the new addition to the family will make me forget that food exists :soda:

Don't fret about weight during and after pregnancy, Holly. I was 20-25 lbs heavier than I should have been before my first pregnancy. Then I gained 25 or so lbs during the pregnancy.

After the birth, I lost all the pregnancy weight by 4 months, plus, by nine months, I lost the extra 20+ lbs I was carrying pre-pregnancy. No special exercise regime (who has the time with a new baby!) I just tried to eat healthy, stay well-hydrated, took a lot of walks with baby, and breastfed. :)
