I need some new suggestions for my possible new internet provider for about a month ago AOL had opened a upgrade to their services to AOL 9.0 VR and sinse then I had nothing but problems and still even after removing the AOL 9.0 VR and re-downloaded AOl 9.0 optimized, the problem differs from that of 9.0 VR for I then were being shut down as when you might click to reboot and now even that im back on with 9.0 optimized that before anything further changes on the situation, while looking around for a new on line provider I am copying a huge number of links into word pad.

So I need some good ideas on other on line providers and while im copying links to get all the corals search and coral links for selling for I not wish to loose much of this and im no idea that the links will work afterwards once I change my internet service.

So lets hear a number of suggestions people and while im waiting to get their CD in the mail I have many links to copy to word pad and once thats all done, I will concel my AOL service.

Thanks

Anything would be better than AOL (the spawn of Satan, himself)
Roadrunner Turbo would be a good start with Firefox as your browser. That's what I use, anyway.

i am in hendersonville, nc, and mediacom is the cable tv provider. i get my internet through them, and it's $60 a month for internet, 65 channels, starz and encore movie channels, and all the music channels.

So you are speaking of Time Warner Cable, is it not? I have Time warner high speed for years and I been with AOL for most of that time. Like my computer is new or it is about 1.2 years that I had it from Intrex and they too have their own Internet but maybe I would be better off too switch to Time warner after I copied all the links I wish to keep. For all to most or on corals research and it be crazy to look and try to gather them all again. I use Internet explorer as well as Firefox, or is that a bad idea? And if all above will be fine, I will give time warner a call on the cost to go with my high speed service.

PS. I have Dish>

I would just go with the local ISP. Where I live its Charter for cable and internet, and SBC/Yahoo for most phone/dsl.

Time Warner owns AOL, and I believe AOL uses Roadrunner High Speed Online. Just keep using Firefox and/or IE and uninstall AOL. You don't need AOL to have Roadrunner.

road runner

So time warner is both, road runner and AOL and so to get away from AOL, perhaps I would try out Yahoo and I just look up at Yahoo and look for a contact number and I found nothing> AOL done so many stupid things to caused me computer problems for the past six weeks and still the issue hasn't been totally corrected. So is it Yahoo?

i've had great success using yahoo. Its a LOT faster than AOL and it sure is a lot more pleasant to use.
