While I haven't been able to fish this year yet...I did read an article on fishing lures people use to make during the great depression. It inspired me to make a copper pipe lure on the cheap. I just hope I can test it out soon. I will post a pic in my next reply.

I went fishing today... and some dude gave me worms and 7 shiners. Well... free bait! XD

I didn't use the shiners yet, waiting till Monday to do so. I have them in a 10 gallon tub with a bubbler. I caught a bunch of huge blue gills.
