Nothing would do too much in my area about it. (half of the people there already smell like dead fish.) There was only one person I knew who worked there that actually knew what they were doing. They quit of course.
My most frustrating experience at walmart was I went in there to pick up some food and things, and they had some betta's. One of them was AWESOME colored. Had very unique coloration, and was absolutely slendid looking. I of course had to get it.
Now let me give you an idea of how it's set up. They have the tanks, and then they have the betta's in little betta containers hanging inside the tanks, so basically all they have to do is take the container and pour it into a fish bag.
Now, the guy they sent over had absolutely no idea what he was doing, and was genuinely retarded. (No offence to anyone who is close to someone like this) basically the last person you would want hadnling fish.
He ended up dumping the entire container onto the concrete floor, and the betta died on inpact. I was pissed and made a very upset complaint to the manager (Who I happened to know at the time) who gave me one of the less pretty ones for half the price. That fish is still alive.
One other time we went there and they had a little cichlid in with the goldfish. The girl they sent over also had no idea what she was doing, so my BF ended up being the one to catch it. We ended up paying goldfish price for an electric yellow. She is now the queen of the tank.
