Anyone in Va Beach??? UKC registered APBTs for adoption.

Just to show you what I mean about the identical markings on his nose, so I can also show VBAC if they actually respond.
Unless he has a clone...

Make sure your parent will be able to make a good argument if they decide to call. Just because they agree doesn't mean they'll be any good.

If I wanted to make some money... I would breed something trendy! These people aren't doing it for love of the breed :silly:

I'm hoping she can just get someone important on the phone, then I will go through everything with them, email the pics, evidence, adds, her info and see what happens. They can also get in trouble for not altering him.

I know, I don't see anything wrong with breeding something rare, but pits are killed more than any other dog in shelters due to over breeding.

hmm well... is there a higher office you can talk to? Calling the people that did it probably won't be very effective.

one day I will own a farm and rescue every pit on death row in my city.. they are wrongfully euphanized all the time-- people wonder why nobody adopts them and its because the government makes us feel like criminals for owning them

I miss my blue nose sooo much.. had to give her to a friend because my fiance almost went into a coma she is so allergic

Not really, the VB SPCA might do something, they are constantly on VBAC to improve, but by the time everything happened he'd probably be gone and have sire another 3 litters.

I hope he finds a loving home that isn't based on his ability to reproduce. :headshake2: I hate browsing craigslist and seeing all the pitties/mixes that are days away from euthanasia...I want to save them all.

although I think this is more common in horses, my favorite is "must go in 3 days or I will be disposing of him"

bleh!

I just wanted to stop in to give some serious props to bettagirl. I know its frustrating, but I am so impressed with your tenacity- just like a pit ;-0

Even if you get no where with the dog pound, you're here, and your bringing attention to the issue of homeless pets and pit bulls specifically. Don't give up.

Even if this dog is lost, your efforts are not in vain. Someone else will see all your posts, will get interested, will research the breed, and even if they can't get to this exact dog in this exact city, they will adopt one you never hear about from their own local shelter. You won't find out that it happened, but you helped make it happen and somewhere out there a life will have been saved because of your efforts.
