Thank you, that's so nice to hear. I rarely do hear things like that, being as it's the awful pitties I advocate (for the most part, I will step in for any animal though), people seem to think I'm some kind of creep.I just wanted to stop in to give some serious props to bettagirl. I know its frustrating, but I am so impressed with your tenacity- just like a pit ;-0
Even if you get no where with the dog pound, you're here, and your bringing attention to the issue of homeless pets and pit bulls specifically. Don't give up.
Even if this dog is lost, your efforts are not in vain. Someone else will see all your posts, will get interested, will research the breed, and even if they can't get to this exact dog in this exact city, they will adopt one you never hear about from their own local shelter. You won't find out that it happened, but you helped make it happen and somewhere out there a life will have been saved because of your efforts.
Luckily, a very nice person on MFK saw my post there, and is going to forward everything I posted to his neighbor, who works for the VB SPCA.
Since it is illegal for VBAC to adopt out an unaltered animal, especially a pit, they may be able to do something.
VB SPCA has also been on VBAC for a while trying to make them clean up their act.
I should know by this evening if anything can be done...
What really ticks me off, is this lady can get him and breed him all she wants, sell him and put him up for stud, but JudgeMax from here could not even get someone to talk to her about getting him, and she had no intentions of breeding.
I will post anything new that I know..
