Anyone Need Riccia?

*cough* *cough* uhum...er...um
right place at the wrong time? If you pm me your address, I'll send you th $5 for a future shipment since I'm not quite ready for it right now.
I'm going to order some plants either this week or next and I'm going to try glosso. If it does well, I'll send some your way len. I don't plan on liking it much, seen enough pics, but so many use it the curiosity has gotten me!
Either way, thanks for offering!!!!

Now there's a plan!!!!! Can't get a decent bunch of Glosso around here.
I'll have more Riccia soon. This batch goes to the three suspects mentioned earlier.
BTW, I don't charge for my plants........people have been very kind to me over the years.
Got to pass it on...................

Len

Ditto! Thought I'd offer anyway. ;)

I don't know much about this riccia stuff. Where is there a good bit of online info describing it and its requirements? And how good of coverage does it give?

Len sent me some Riccia way back in, hmmmm, January I think. Anyway it arrived fine. In fact, it has multiplied so much that I weekly throw out several handfulls. ( LFS around here doesn't want it) I have even put some in my tanganyika tank, floating of course.

Thanks again Len.

If only the world could communicate freely (easier?) about who is throwing what away...maybe there would be less famine, war, etc.....?
That is if those throwing stuff out would be willing to give it out instead;)

Thanks so much for the plants Len. I got them this afternoon (2:00 p.m. MT). The riccia started to pearl minutes after I put it in. The Corkskrew Val and Salvinia are also in great condition. You can’t event tell they were shipped. They are in way better condition then the plants that I’ve ordered over the years from online vendors. If you ever want some clippings of my plants I would be glad to return the favor. Thanks again.

Not to hijack the thread, but the interface between Canada Post and USPS must be really terrible if a package can go from New Jersey to Texas or Colorado faster than to Nova Scotia, which off the top of my head must be less than half the distance!
